UrBANGUILD is a live music venue on Kiyamachi Street. The space was started in 2006 by Jiro Fukunishi, a local painter and carpenter. In addition to live music, the venue is also home to a variety of events featuring dance, visual arts, and theater. The majority of the artists come from abroad, which attracts domestic and foreign audiences. The tables in UrBANGUILD are built by employees. The carefully constructed interior as well as the artwork decorating the walls are appreciated. There's also great food and drink, and customers often eat during and after the show. On days when there are no live performances, the space opens up as a cafe called Ur Shokudo and there is no entrance fee.
