Sapporo TV Tower

Located on the east side of Odori Park, with a height of only 147.2m - one of the smallest TV towers in Japan - Sapporo TV Tower (Sapporo Terebi-tō) is an iconic landmark of the city most visited by tourists.

Built in 1957 with a classic iron tower design combined with seasonally changing LED colors. The Sapporo TV Tower is easily seen and accessible from Odori Park, the tower's exterior highlights are the large digital clocks installed in 1961. It's fun to enjoy a meal at one of the many traditional dining shops nearby and admire the light of the tower at night.

It takes less than a minute by elevator from the third floor to the main observatory at a height of 90m. There are 03 telescopes and large glass windows that make the whole scene of Sapporo city open under your eyes, with the backdrop of the magnificent Ishikari countryside, the Sea of Japan in the background. far away and Odori Park, where flowers bloom in four seasons.
