Light Festival

Winter time is the time when the country of the rising sun organizes light festivals. Many places in Japan hold this festival, the trees or grounds are decorated with colorful lights. When coming to Osaka, you cannot miss the artistic lighting show. The illumination event started in 2002 and attracts around 3-4 million visitors during the main period on 24th and 25th December every year. Library buildings or city hall centers at night the wall surface is used as a projection surface for works. The combination of technology of light, sound, and effects has made the renaissance works come alive, you will see the scene of the walls collapsing right before your eyes and then being folded, the architecture gotich is recreated, the flowers blooming right on the wall, the birds flying into the sky give you a feeling of extreme excitement and can't take your eyes off the show.
