Ueno Park is an attractive destination during cherry blossom season

The park was established in 1873 and became the first public park in Japan. The park has an area of 120 hectares inside and includes many facilities such as museums, temples, zoos and lakes. If you go to the park, you can enter the temple here to pray for good luck and health.

The special thing in the park is that there are more than 1000 cherry blossom trees planted around the lake and at a walkway. This is a place that attracts quite a lot of visitors during the cherry blossom season. You can take a walk on that path to see the flowers bloom, or row a boat in the middle of the lake to see the cherry blossoms. In the summer, the park also holds many festivals with bold Japanese culture.
