Profile
Kashiwaya is located in Senriyama, a quiet residential area not far from downtown Osaka. There are three private dining rooms and one spacious dining room, exquisitely decorated by the owner who is knowledgeable about chanoyu (tea ceremony). Among the four restaurants in Osaka to receive three Michelin stars, Kashiwaya was rated the most comfortable according to the Michelin Guide. The food served is traditional kaiseki cuisine, but with a combination of modern ingredients and techniques. The resulting dishes are not only extremely tasty but also unique to Kashiwaya. Indulge in gourmet dishes prepared with luxurious Japanese ingredients such as steamed abalone and rare Ise shrimp in one meal and you'll forget the time as you immerse yourself in the food full of delicious surprises and the delicate care of the chef.
Despite being one of the top restaurants in Osaka, the prices are quite reasonable.
Kaiseki's lunch sets start at just ¥10,000, and dinner at ¥16,000, ¥24,000 or 30,000 depending on the menu you get.
Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance and you should book as soon as possible.
