The Sphere - Museum of The Future Nur Alem

In 2017, the capital Nursultan held the EXPO exhibition with the theme "Future Energy". Nur Alem National Building was chosen as the venue and after the exhibition, it became a national heritage, now considered a museum of future energy in Kazakhstan. The museum has a unique spherical shape that was noticed before the opening of the exhibition and is one of the tourist attractions of Nursultan.

A large spherical building in the heart of the capital Nursultan was developed to host the large-scale EXPO exhibition in 2017 attracting 4 million visitors from 180 countries. The massive spherical structure 80 meters in diameter and 100 meters high is constructed of smooth, pure glass. The facades are glass structures that are gently curved in three dimensions. To achieve these results, the designers had to heat the glass in special furnaces until the material reached a certain degree of flexibility and then put it into pre-selected molds. The man behind the idea for this unique design is German architect Albert Speer Jr, who says it is the epitome of the last drop of oil and an important era in which humanity will move to harness energy. this amount in the future.
