Created in 2003, Rock en Seine takes place on the last weekend of August every year (usually August 25 - 27) and is the last major rock event of the summer in France. Each year, more than 100,000 festival-goers gather in the Saint-Cloud National Park on the edge of Paris, to listen to popular bands and to discover great new discoveries in rock, pop, shoegaze and Electro. The concert at Rock en Seine was performed on four stages, set in the center of historic gardens designed by Andre Le Nôtre (who also designed the building of the Palace of Versailles). A place for the world's music stars to "share" the stage, from the XX to George Ezra, Jain and the Kills.
