Just for Laughs Festival

Just for Laughs has been held since 1983 and this festival takes place every July in the city of Montreal. Visitors coming here can watch non-verbal performances such as acrobatics, pantomimes, ... or enjoy comedy shows performed in English or French.

True to its name, Just for Laughs is a festival that visitors can participate in at any time of the day and have a good laugh to break away anxiety and depression. In the long run, besides the main purpose, Just for Laughs is also a playground for emerging artists, where they can showcase their talents and seek opportunities to develop and shine for themselves.

Not stopping there, Just for Laughs also contains a comedy festival during the time called Comedia. In 2005, Comedia screened 125 short and feature-length films from around the world, both serving the entertainment needs of visitors and honoring dramatic comedies.

In July 2007, Just for Laughs celebrated its 25th anniversary with the launch of the festival in Toronto, Ontario.
