The Montréal Pride festival takes place for 11 days in August every year and attracts more than 2.5 million domestic and international visitors. This is a humanistic festival for the LGBT community in Montreal - Canada in particular and around the world in general. Montréal Pride illuminates and creates awareness and sympathy of the community for the third gender group, thereby advocating for the advancement of human rights domestically and internationally. Montréal Pride is also a place where people can help each other in the fight against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Montréal Pride not only organizes parades, but cultural, social and charity events also take place during the festival period with more than 70 percent of the performers coming from the local community. Through it, people can remember and honor the contributions that the LGBT community has made to the development of the country.
