Dau Go cave

Thien Cung and Dau Go caves have become attractive tourist attractions when visiting Ha Long Bay. Dau Go Cave was formed millions of years ago, located at an altitude of 27m above sea level, 300m from Thien Cung Cave. To go to Dau Go cave, you will go to Tuan Chau international tourist pier to buy sightseeing tickets and buy train tickets. You should choose route 1 and 2, because these two routes have a visit to Dau Go, while the other routes do not.

Not as sparkling as Thien Cung cave, but Dau Go cave is known as one of the quite large caves, with an interior area of about 5000 m ² , the mouth of the cave is 17 m wide and 12 m high. When visiting in the summer, you will feel the coolness when going inside the cave. The cave is divided into three compartments, the first compartment is where many stalactite systems are concentrated so that viewers can immerse themselves in the beauty of stalactites with familiar images such as images of turtles, lions, The dragon... The deeper you go inside the natural light weakens, everything becomes more fanciful, this space makes you think of being lost in an ancient castle with towering stone columns, the last point. In the third compartment is a fairy well with a source of fresh water, flowing day and night. In 1918, King Khai Dinh of the Nguyen Dynasty visited the cave. After the trip, the king ordered a stone stele to be placed right next to the entrance of the cave, which is still preserved, this is a relic that makes the cave even more valuable. Dau Go Cave will definitely be a unique tourist destination in the journey to discover Ha Long.
