Chiostro del Bramante Café is known as a peaceful oasis in the middle of the busy historic center. It is also home to some of the most fascinating art exhibitions in the city. Some of the famous exhibitions are displayed here in recent times such as Turner, Hokusai and Juan Mirò.
Few cafes are as beautifully located as this one, on the first floor of the Bramante church. Chiostro del Bramante is a fine example of Renaissance architecture in Rome. It was originally a monastery complex that included the adjoining church of Santa Maria della Pace - home to Raphael's famous Sibyls fresco. With tables above the central courtyard and sofas in a classic room overlooking Raphael frescoes. It serves everything from pastries and coffee to baguettes, risottos and avocados.
Chiostro del Bramante Café is free to enter and opens at the same time as the Chiostro exhibition (Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00-20.00). This is a relaxing meeting place for breakfast, lunch, tea or drinks while visiting the exhibition or on any other occasion. A special feature of Bistrot - Cafe is a diverse, natural but delicate menu. Friendly service, attentive care and the best products, prepared at the counter or by the chefs in the Chiostro's kitchen, always delight guests.
Chiostro del Bramante Café is the perfect place to relax with a drink or coffee during your stay in Rome.
