The market was born in the 1940s of the 20th century from a spontaneous trading area of a group of people. But with a favorable position in both waterway and road traffic, Han market has developed to become a famous shopping center of Da Nang city. In 1990, on the occasion of Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19), the market was started and completely new construction.
