Bai Dai (also known as Bai Truong) is the most famous beach in the west of Phu Quoc Island. True to its name, the beach is more than 20km long with golden sand. Bai Dai is divided into two sections - Long Beach North and Long Beach South. Here, you can find luxury beachfront resorts, restaurants, cafes and beach bars with breathtaking sunset views.

Any visitor who has been to Phu Quoc will surely tell you that the island has many beaches and Bai Dai should be the first beach to visit in Phu Quoc Island. A trip to Phu Quoc would not be complete and complete without a day relaxing on the white sands of Bai Dai main beach. The beach stretches for more than 20 km, becoming the focus of tourist and local activities.

Visitors to Phu Quoc to enjoy swimming and sunbathing can enjoy the cool air in the ocean and the general view here is truly breathtaking, especially at sunset. Bai Dai, one of the most interesting attractions of Phu Quoc Island, is located on the west coast of the main island of Phu Quoc and only about 10 minutes from Phu Quoc International Airport. Clean and blue water, golden sand beach, beautiful sunset and swaying coconut groves really make Bai Dai the dreamland of every photographer.

On the other hand, here tourists can snorkel, swim, kayak, etc. For those who want to relax on the beach and sunbathe, they can choose from one of the many resorts. There are sun loungers along the beach. For more relaxation, tourists can also enjoy a massage on the beach for just a few dollars from one of the seasoned masseuses.

In addition, there are many places for visitors to drink, eat and party on the beach. Because of the development of tourism in this island, recently there are many local beach vendors patrolling the sand selling their products and services, such as cold drinks, fresh fruit , coconut water and even fresh seafood.

This is also where you can find some pearl farms; and further down the road, you can also witness more real pictures of the island's other industry - fish sauce. To make fish sauce, the fresh anchovies are caught offshore and then dried on those large wicker sheets.

Bai Dai in Phu Quoc is divided into two northern and southern ends, formerly home to most of the island's luxury resorts, restaurants and tourist facilities. There is also a backpacker named Long Beach Village, located at the back of Tran Hung Dao Street. While most of the beaches are owned by various five-star resorts, you can still find some public areas further south.

Bai Dai is easily accessible on foot, but we recommend renting a motorbike or bicycle to explore the traditional fishing villages and pearl farms located at the southern end of the beach. Since the beach is located on the west coast of Phu Quoc Island, many visitors come here in the evening to watch the spectacular sunset. It's also the perfect spot for sunbathing, snorkeling and swimming, especially for those staying at high-end resorts and hotels.
