"Experience one of Paris' most serene places in this grassy green park in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower."

Champ de Mars is located in an easy to find location right in front of the Eiffel Tower. Guests can walk along the Seine harbor from the city center or take the RER train to Champ de Mars Station. The park is open to visitors every day.

Lie back in the sun in the beautiful parkland of the Champ de Mars and lift your eyes for the best views of the Eiffel Tower, France's most famous landmark. Visitors can come here to camp or admire the majestic Le Mur pour La Paix monument located at one end of the park.

Among the beautiful museums and structures of the French capital, the green space here is truly a place of beauty. Come to rest and relax during your city exploration. After opening in 1780, it was used as a parade area for military recruits, today, it has become a sunbathing spot for city people.

Bring your lunch when you come here. Visitors can admire the majestic Eiffel Tower while enjoying a simple feast of local cheese and wine. Grab your camera to capture the perfect shot or buy a postcard from one of the stalls nearby. Take on the self-portrait challenge that captures the full height of the tower. Come back at nightfall to enjoy the view of the tower bathed in bright lights from foot to top.

Walk towards the end of the park to the Peace Wall Memorial. Built in 2000 and inspired by the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, this memorial was designed by artist Clara Halter and crafted by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. This is one of a trio of memorials to this author duo. Two similar memorials exist in the cities of St. Petersburg and Hiroshima. The monument has a tall steel body with a facade of glass panels engraved with the word "peace" written in 49 languages and 18 distinct alphabetic systems. When changing position in front of the glass panels, visitors will be able to read the blurred text.
