Hua Hin Grand Night Market

One of the most popular night markets among Hua Hin locals, Grand Night Market is open from Wednesday to Saturday and is a great place to experience Thai local life. Here you can find typical flea market items, including clothing and accessories, DVDs, and a fruit stand. The Grand Night Market has two separate sections and most of these items can usually be found in the front section. Head into the back section and are more likely to find handcrafted items here and there's an air-conditioned area with more shops, bars and fish spas. If you are hungry while shopping at Grand Night, you will be happy to know that street food is plentiful, mainly Thai cuisine.

While you may not be surprised by the things on offer, it is still a good way to gain insight into the Thai market phenomenon. Located on a street that cuts between Hotel Grand and San Paulo Hua Hin Hospital, the market can be reached from Phetchkasem Road and extends all the way to a dead end.

Hua Hin Grand Night Market has two main areas. The part in front of the main road contains typical mass market-style goods. Along with t-shirts, DVD movies, music CDs, watches, women's shoes, sports shoes, imitation jewelry and various fashion accessories, there is also a foot massage, food store, fruit stand. plants and on Wednesdays plants, fish and aquatic animals for the indoor aquarium.

The rear section has a more artsy and hip vibe. Here you'll find unique crafts, a few bars, and a small air-conditioned area with more shops and a fish spa. Street food abounds too, consisting mainly of Thai food and some Asian delicacies and steaks.

Compared to Hua Hin Night Market and Cicada Market, Hua Hin Grand Night Market has a more local and casual feel. This is not a must visit place but if you happen to be in the area it could be a good place to find something to eat.
