Ton Duc Thang Museum is a memorial museum of famous people in Vietnam, located at 5 Ton Duc Thang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The museum has the task of researching, collecting, inventorying, preserving, displaying, storing, and introducing to visitors documents and artifacts related to the life and revolutionary career of President Ton Duc Thang, the sentiments of the people of the whole country and international friends towards him, with the aim of being a place to educate useful traditions for the younger generation. The museum is also the place to hold flower and incense offering ceremonies on occasions commemorating Ton Duc Thang. Initially, the museum was named the Exhibition House of the Life and Career of President Ton Duc Thang.

The Ton Duc Thang Museum is located in a house that used to be the residence of the Prime Minister of the South Vietnamese regime. After 1975, the house was taken over by the revolutionary government and turned into a guesthouse for the Ministry of Defense. In 1988, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's birth, the house was renovated and transformed into the “Exhibition House showcasing the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang.”

For over 30 years, the Ton Duc Thang Museum has genuinely become a cultural hub for people across the country and international friends to learn about the life and revolutionary career of President Ton Duc Thang. In 2012, the Ton Duc Thang Museum had the honor of receiving the Second Class Labor Medal. This is a prestigious award that motivates the staff and workers of the institution to further strive in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of President Tôn Đức Thắng.

The Toc Duc Thang Museum is a public non-business unit under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, established under Decision No. 86/QĐ-UB dated May 18, 1988, by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, initially named “Exhibition House of the Life and Career of President Tôn Đức Thắng.” Its headquarters is located at 5 Ton Duc Thang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Later, it was officially renamed Ton Duc Thang Museum according to Decision No. 894/QĐ dated August 13, 1990, by the Minister of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

The Ton Duc Thang Museum is a public non-business unit under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, with the function of researching, collecting, inventorying, preserving, displaying, and introducing documents and artifacts related to the life and career of President Ton Duc Thang, as well as the affection of the people both domestically and internationally towards him, aiming to promote the values of cultural heritage, educate revolutionary traditions, and foster patriotism following the example of President Ton Duc Thang.
