Architecturally, the mall impresses with its simple elegant design of light stone and a glass roof. In the middle is a large piazetta between two shopping areas. The Wertheim department store, one of the most famous in Berlin, was once located at this location. In the '90s, the legendary Technoclub Tresor used this former vault before ceding management to the Mall of Berlin, which opened in 2014, becoming the second largest shopping mall in Berlin.
In addition to international fashion chains such as Zara, H&M, Douglas and luxury brands such as Armani Exchange, Massimo Dutti, Tommy Hilfiger, Hollister and Max & Co have also opened their stores in the Mall of Berlin. The center also houses the store of German football club - Hertha BSC and the Saturn electronics store.
For a break from shopping, the Food Court on the second floor in the west wing offers a wide selection of restaurants and snack bars with burgers, curry sausages, ice cream cafes and international snacks.
Every Tuesday, there is always a gathering going on for a 6km run through the Tiergarten. The meeting point is in the square. Every day at 6pm, free open dances for tango, salsa and standard are also held in the square (piazza), followed by free dancing until 9pm.
In an overall complex environment, you will find a perfect combination of shopping, dining, housing, hotels and offices. Moreover, the center is located near Potsdamer Platz, where there are many luxury restaurants, Jewish Memorial and Sony center, convenient for shopping and sightseeing.
