Lyon Comic Festival - Lyon BD Festival

Lyon Festival BD is the festival dedicated to the 9th art and BD = Bande Dessinée (comics). Is an annual festival held in June and takes place in many places in the city of Lyon. The festival is an occasion to celebrate and honor a unique and unique culture of Comics, an event suitable for everyone, from adults to children. The festival usually brings together about 270 artists from around the world and about 80,000 visitors each year.

The festival has 2 parts: “IN” part and “OFF” part. The “IN” part only takes place in 2 main days, usually June 8th and 9th, on this day artists and manga artists will showcase their talents and share their art with the public. At the end of the “IN” part of the festival will end with a concert at the Théâtre Comédie Odéon, while the “OFF” part will last for a whole month at various points in Lyon such as the Town Hall, Palais de la Bourse , Opera Theater Lyon,….
