In 2020, Layla Eatery & Bar was awarded Vietnam Restaurant & Bar by Vietcetera News & Media Company. Under the management of a young couple Annie Vu & Jay Moir, Annie was an international student in Australia, met Jay while studying at university, the man who went back to Vietnam with Annie for love to set up a career. Layla Eatery & Bar officially opened in December 2016. For Annie, Layla is like her first child, where she and Jay put all their hearts into every corner of the table, bar, and bench. There is a little-known story that Annie became pregnant and gave birth to her first son just 2 weeks after Layla Eatery & Bar went into operation. Therefore, this hidden bar is also an integral part of the small family of this dynamic young couple. 

Layla Eatery & Bar's style is a place where both locals and visitors can enjoy creative cocktails and delicious Asian-European drinks. Layla Eatery & Bar is one of the pioneers in wine quality, preparation method and beautiful presentation. Here, wine connoisseurs can choose between a selection of wines curated by wine expert Jay himself from Australia, Italy, France, New Zealand, Chile and Spain. For drinkers who like to drink cocktails, in addition to the classic and modern on the menu, the bartenders at Layla can also create more flavors depending on the guests' preferences when the bar is not too busy. . Here, Jay also collects a variety of spirits such as whiskey, vodka, tequila and gin from many countries around the world. In particular, Layla is also a place to promote gin from distillers in Vietnam, such as Song Cai Gin from the Northern mountains, or Lady Trieu gin from a distillery in Cu Chi. 

Using the word "eatery" in Layla's name, Annie implied and affirmed that the dishes here are not sketchy.
