Is a large nature park, covering an area of 21 hectares, located in the heart of Sapporo city, next to the Susukino shopping district.

Nakajima Park is an urban park with cultural facilities and historic buildings that is a great place to experience all seasons of the year. The park has about 5,000 trees, including such trees as: Japanese red spruce, yew, gingko Ezo mountain cherry, and Japanese elm and wisteria.

In the snowy winter, the park offers a cross-country skiing course. In spring Nakajima park is full of cherry blossoms and is a beautiful area for walking around and taking pictures.

In the summer, Sapporo holds the Hokkaido Shrine Festival. The festival features events happening around Sapporo, and Nakajima Park is no exception. Area paths and paths inside the park are always bustling with shops, stalls, game stalls and a few haunted houses and games for kids.
