This is a historic stop for travelers visiting Delhi. Not only is it a place to learn about the historical figure Jawaharlal Nehru - the first prime minister of India, but also a place to attract those who are passionate about astronomy with the famous Nehru Planetarium.

The Three Statues House is a splendid and historic structure located in the capital city of Delhi. This magnificent structure was built in 1930 by British architect Robert Torr Russel as the residence of the Commander-in-Chief of the Anglo-Indian Army. After India gained independence, it became the residence of the first Prime Minister of India - Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. The Three Statues House was his residence for 16 years until his death in 1964. The house was later converted into a Memorial Hall dedicated to him.

This place is named House of Three Statues because of the statues of three soldiers standing in the grounds, representing the horsemen at Mysore, Jodhpur and Hyderabad. The statue was erected in 1922 as an homage to the brave soldiers who died in World War I, in Sinai, Palestine and Syria.

Tourists can visit the Nehru Memorial Library and Museum. At the Museum visitors can find galleries of Nehru's old office that has been recreated using artifacts and furniture similar to his lifetime. The Nehru Memorial Library has a large number of books documenting the history of modern India aimed at promoting scholarly study of modern and contemporary history.

Another attraction is the Nehru Planetarium, which attracts tourists from all over the world. Exciting shows and presentations can be watched in the planetarium's Sky Theater. This is the place to display information about beautiful constellations and planets, cartoons, paintings, movies and special effects widely used at the Sky Theater.
