The Tünektepe Cable Car is one of Antalya's iconic sites. This cable car offers a unique panorama of Antalya by taking visitors to Tünektepe at an altitude of 618 meters. Open every day of the week except Monday, the cable car consists of a total of 36 carriages, which can transport 1,200 people per hour from Sarısu to Tünektepe over a distance of 1,706 meters. The Antalya Metropolitan Government's decision to implement the Tünektepe Cable Car project, which reduces the distance between Sarısu and Tünektepe to 9 minutes, has attracted great attention. The cable car construction was inaugurated by the Mayor of the Metropolitan City, Menderes Türel, together with journalists on 5 February 2017.

Tünektepe cable car tickets are sold at a very low price compared to other cable car projects in Turkey. The line has a total investment of nearly 15 million Turkish liras, described as the cheapest means of transportation by cable car in this country.
