Chelsea Club is not only one of the oldest clubs in Vienna, but also one of the largest. Whereas Rhiz, B72 and others were built in just one or two old subway arches, Chelsea was built in three interconnected arches. These domes can be separated by doors on request or fully extended for concerts by famous DJs. Two of the domes have tables, chairs and video projectors with wide screens for live broadcasts of football matches or concerts. The third room is located in front of the stage and is used as a large dance floor.
During the warm summer months, guests can also sit in the sidewalk cafe just outside the club. The music program includes many concerts, guitar and pop shows are the main programs at the Chelsea club.
DJs' concerts often range from electronic music to relaxing punk sessions. Another highlight of the Chelsea club is its beers - especially British beers. The relaxed and inviting atmosphere especially for football fans is the special attraction of the Chelsea club. That's probably because the owner was once a professional football player and has decorated his club to suit those who love football - the king sport in the world.
