First Stop: Van Phuc Silk Village - Located just 15km west of Hanoi, Van Phuc Silk Village has been a hub of silk weaving for centuries. Experience the village’s revitalized energy as you explore its workshops and witness the creation of beautiful silk products that are sought after in both domestic and international markets.

Second Stop: Bat Trang Pottery Village - Travel to Bat Trang Pottery Village, situated on the left bank of the Red River, about 10km east of Hanoi. As the oldest and most famous pottery village in Vietnam, Bat Trang remains vibrant with artisans continuing to produce exquisite ceramic works. Explore the village, meet the craftsmen, and discover the art of pottery-making that has been passed down through generations.

  • The ideal time to visit Hanoi is in the autumn, from August to November, when the weather is the most beautiful of the year with clear blue skies, a gentle cool breeze, and the fragrant scent of milk flowers in the air. Spring, from March to April, is also a great time, as the streets come alive with blossoming trees.
  • Winter in Northern Vietnam can be very cold, so be sure to bring warm clothing when going outdoors.
