The lecture “Illusion Box – The Science of Light” helps students explore the phenomenon of light reflection and how it is used to create magical 3D images like in hologram presentations. Through a series of experiential activities – from observation, discussion to hands-on manufacturing – students can assemble an Illusion Box using mica, cardboard and display devices. The lesson not only helps students understand the scientific principles behind optical illusions, but also stimulates creative thinking, teamwork and idea presentation skills. Through creating their own “light messages”, students realize that science and art can blend to create miracles, while expanding their understanding of the practical applications of hologram technology in modern life.
