+ Activity
1: Which Water Works Best?
Teams
will collect and test different local water sources (well water, rainwater,
canal water) for pH, turbidity, and smell. Based on their findings, students
will decide which source is most suitable for irrigation and justify their
choice.
+ Activity
2: Design a Water-Saving Irrigation System
Using
basic materials (plastic tubing, syringes, bottles), teams will build a drip
irrigation prototype for a model fruit plant. The system that uses the least
water while maintaining effective coverage will earn top points.
+ Activity
3: Ask – Record – Reflect
During
a guided farm tour or farmer Q&A session, each team will write down at
least 5 key things they learn about how farmers use and save water. Teams will
later present a short summary of their findings.
