Japanese children learn origami in elementary school to improve concentration skills and help children follow instructions to reach their end goal. This is one of the best family activities for visitors to Japan where members can learn to create lovely products.

This origami class is for beginners like kids all the way up to the big ones. This class usually lasts 45 minutes. Your instructor will make sure to pick a number that is appropriate for your level. If you are a beginner, you will make paper cranes (believed to bring good luck) or gift boxes. If you've done origami before you'll be doing more difficult, more complex shapes, you'll have the opportunity to choose any character you want to make: crane, box, lily, turtle, tiger, dinosaur, child pig...
