About 50 cities from countries such as Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic are participating in the Kaleiçi Old Town Festival organized by Muratpaşa Municipality. Concerts, exhibitions, street performances and interviews are held during the 4-day festival in the historic center, where life continues from the 4th century BC to the present day.

The Antalya Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, first held in 2016 aims to share the values of Kaleiçi, part of the world cultural heritage, and build a common culture for all mankind. Kaleiçi has been shaped by every civilization living in the region through its history of ups and downs. The ancient city of Kaleiçi is one of the numerous jewels of the Antalya region.

Has not been destroyed by going through various cultures since the 4th century BC; Kaleiçi, the heart of Antalya, which bears an important part of the cultural fabric of the city that has survived to this day after earthquakes, fires and numerous sieges, and is one of the rare examples around the world about immortality. With a rich cultural past, traditional houses and narrow streets, it continues to provide an impressive environment for visitors.

The "Kaleiçi Old Town Festival", initiated by the City of Muratpaşa with the aim of "bringing the story of Kaleiçi, the heart of Antalya, to the world", begins Thursday, October 10, with the participation of 24 countries and 48 cities from 3 continents. The festival's first step towards establishing a platform connecting cities with ancient historic centers, where daily life continues, is also being done at the festival.

Since the first year it was held, the festival has welcomed Italy and Russia as guests of honor. Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, which has become one of the most colorful events in Turkey with concerts, interviews on the streets of Kaleiçi and experimental artworks of which the old city is the main part in there. During festival days, Kaleiçi's streets, squares and monumental sites such as Üç Kapılar, Hıdırlık Tower and Kale Kapısı will host different events at every hour of the day.

The festival is held annually in early October, is an exciting time in the small ancient port city to admire the old houses, visit the luxury shops, enjoy the unforgettable experiences. including Mediterranean and Anatolian delicacies. Kaleiçi Old Town is Antalya's most valuable starting point for experiencing history intertwined with everyday life. A place that protects Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman heritage.
