Dong Ba Market was built in 1899 under King Thanh Thai, so it has long become a cultural tourist destination of the ancient capital of Hue.

Dong Ba market starts from Trang Tien bridge to Gia Hoi bridge. The main door of the market is located on Tran Hung Dao street, the rear borders the Perfume River.

There are thousands of stalls in the market area selling all kinds of goods. Dong Ba Market includes "Bell Floor" which is a 3-storey building in the center surrounded by rows of houses forming several U-shaped belts embracing the bell tower with many stalls crowded with buyers and sellers. Dong ba market is famous for a long time in the ancient capital, so it sells all kinds of famous Hue specialties such as sesame candy, sour shrimp paste, spring rolls, Huong Can tangerine, Tinh Tam lotus seeds... Going to the food court of the market, visitors can also enjoy the famous beef noodle soup, mussel rice, filter cake, beo cake, green chili fish sauce, spicy pork vermicelli noodles...

The 3rd floor is where you can find fabrics, fashion clothes. There are many Hue ao dai of all sizes so that visitors can buy and wear them right away when taking photos in Hue.

The second floor and part of the first floor with thousands of exquisite handicrafts make it difficult for visitors to leave. Here, you can find the poetic hats of Phu Cam conical hat village, the famous steel water scissors of Hien Luong forging village, and the sophisticated and splendid jewelry of the Ke Mon jewelry village. For those who love pottery, the ceramic products of Phuoc Tich village with clay pots, super potions, lime pots, jars, cups, bowls of all colors are attractive at first sight. This place also sells bamboo products with baskets, baskets, nets, beds, cots, table cages, bags... with all colors, designs and types that make customers look dizzy. Moreover, visitors can find famous casting products such as finely made urns and bronze bells.
