Museum Campus is a park complex located along the shores of Lake Michigan, covering 23 hectares and including five of the city's most notable attractions.

The Museum Campus was built with the intention of turning the area around the city's three notable museums into a pedestrian-friendly green area. Within the park's grounds are three famous Chicago celebrities:

  • Adler Planetarium, the oldest planetarium in the United States.
  • Shedd Aquarium, the largest indoor aquarium in the world.
  • Field Museum of Natural History, one of the largest natural history archives in the world.

Additionally, at the park are Solider Field, home of the Chicago Bear football team, and McCormick Place, the site of many conventions and fairs.

The entire Museum Campus is designed with many trees and flowers, along with paths for jogging or walking. Along Solidarity Drive, a small road connecting Northerly Island and the mainland is also decorated with many large bronze memorials.
