Building on an idea devised many years ago by scientists in Costa Rica so they could further investigate the Eco system of rainforest canopies using a system of zip cords, pedestals and pulleys, Flight Of The Gibbon has turned this once-exclusive land into a thrilling adventure for everyone.
When you arrive at the Flight of The Gibbon starting point, you're divided into groups and dressed with a seat belt harness and stroller mechanism along with a helmet. Your 2 tutorials will give you a demonstration of your equipment use and technique. And now the fun begins, more than 50 meters high in the rainforest canopy set on wooden pedestals, some with breathtaking views through the dome.
Your guide attaches your pusher to the rope and you begin to slide to the next point, where the second guide is waiting to catch you and pull you in. There are more than 3 km of zip lines through the trees, the longest of which is 300 meters long. You won't be able to see the stop at the other end because the cable is submerged under the tree which makes you a bit confused. Once you have overcome your fear, you will have a very enjoyable time here.
