Fansipan is the highest mountain in the Hoang Lien Son range, 3,143m high and is known as the roof of Indochina, standing tall in the Northwest. This is also one of the spots that any mountaineer cannot ignore.

Fansipan is located in the center of Hoang Lien Son range, about 9km from Sapa town to the southwest, the easiest way to the top is to follow the following 3 stages:

  1. From Sa Pa central station in Sun plaza (De La Coupole hotel) located opposite the central square to Muong Hoa station by train designed by Switzerland with classic style interior with some luxurious gilded details. Importantly, through the distance of only 4 minutes, visitors can admire the picturesque Muong Hoa valley through transparent glass panels from both sides of the ship's hull. Arriving at Muong Hoa station - part of Sun World Fansipan Legend complex, you can experience tourist services such as restaurants, hotels, shops... in addition, there are also beautiful natural landscapes for tourists. Guests are free to take pictures by the rose garden with all kinds of roses blooming all year round, a large purple flower garden stretching an immense distance on the mountainside...
  2. From Muong Hoa station, you continue to go 15 minutes by cable car from Hoang Lien station to the station to Fansipan station, step out of the station is Ha Pagoda (Thanh Phong Huyen Tu). Fansipan cable car route currently holds 2 Guinness records for the longest difference (departure and arrival stations: 1410m) and the longest length (6325m) of the 3-wire cable car. With a capacity of 25-30 guests/cabin. You will be overwhelmed by the majestic scenery of Hoang Lien Son, green forests interspersed with hundreds of streams flowing from the top of the mountain.
  3. Here you have 2 ways to get to the top of Fansipan. The first is to take the Do Quyen mountain climbing train, which only takes about 1 minute, suitable for the elderly and unfit for climbing stairs. The second is to climb 600 more stairs, which takes about 25-30 minutes.

The advice is that you should choose one way up by mountain train in the afternoon and walk down, or vice versa, so you both save time and enjoy the scenery of the temple complex on the mountain. The charming scenery is like stepping into a fairyland, from the foot to the top echoing the melodious music of meditation between typical Buddhist works such as: Gate of Heaven to sleep with great beauty, Buddha statue A. The highest bronze Di Da in Vietnam (21.5m), Dai Hung Bao Dien with many Buddha statues, 11-storey monolithic stupa, Arhat road with 18 bronze Arhat statues, Bich Van Thien pagoda , the statue of Bodhisattva, the Bell Tower... in harmony with the beautiful and pure colors of forest flowers, especially at the end of March and the beginning of May is the season of Do Quyen blooming throughout the mountains and forests,

At the top of the legendary Fansipan, you are free to take pictures with the conical symbol of Fansipan to satisfy the joy of conquering, in addition, there is also a towering national flagpole with red and yellow stars fluttering between heaven and earth.

Note: on the mountain, the temperature and pressure have a pressure difference, there is wind and fog that can cause tinnitus and cold, so pay attention to bring a coat, a scarf to keep your body warm enough. Bring drinking water as there is only one water dispenser near the top
