Candide
A little taste of France lingers in Montreal
Built in 1981, located on the south side of St. Joseph's Church with European architecture with light wood, exposed brick panels, blue leather furniture, Candide brings a cozy space. for diners when dining here. In the summer, Candide's terrace is the place to cool down the soul of diners with dishes of distant France.
Candide's permanent menu changes monthly, as a demonstration of the chefs' love for local, seasonal ingredients. Each meal here has two fixed appetizers, diners have the right to choose 1 main dish from the two main courses here and the same for dessert. And in the summer, Candide's menu will lean towards dishes containing a lot of green vegetables such as asparagus, radishes, peas, etc. Besides, the extensive wine list includes imported wines, Bio or organic wines at Candide will bring the perfect combination with dishes depending on the taste of diners.
Although the menu at Candide is not too extensive, the quiet, mellow and luxurious atmosphere of the restaurant is worthy for diners to come here at least once a month.
