Binh Ba Island is located in Cam Ranh Port, this place is famous for its delicious lobster

Binh Ba Island belongs to Cam Binh Commune, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa. This is a small island with an area of 3 km, 15 km from Ba Nii port, 60 km from Nha Trang city to the south. Because the island is located in Cam Ranh Bay, only Vietnamese citizens can enter the island.

Local fishermen think that "Binh" in the name can mean "peaceful" but also "Binh Dinh" - is a way for people to remember the ancestors from Binh Dinh who came here to settle down in the late period. 17th century, early 18th century.

"Three" may be because the island has 3 beaches: Bai Chuong, Bai Cua and Bai Nom. Only Nom beach has fine sand and calm sea. The other two beaches have coral stones, so when bathing, their feet hurt or they cut their legs.

If you want to go to Binh Ba island, first go to Ba Ngoi port (Cam Ranh) and then buy a ticket to Binh Ba island. You can choose to take the wooden train or the Canoe. Wooden ships are slower but less prone to waves and cheaper. Wooden boats are ships of Binh Ba people moving from the island to the shore or vice versa, so the ship carries goods, not a tourist boat.

Places to visit on the island: Pink grass hill, turtle island, Chuong beach, Ngu Hanh mausoleum and Binh Ba village communal house. Because the island is only allowed to welcome domestic tourists, the services on the island are still spontaneous and of low quality, suitable for young people who like to explore, like to eat lobster and seafood ;). The best time to visit the island is from 5 to 9.

Note: When traveling to Binh Ba, remember to bring your identification to present to the Border Police.
