Odori Sapporo Park

Located in downtown Sapporo, Odori Park stretches 1.5km from east to west with beautiful flower beds, green lawns and nearly 4,700 plants of 92 different species, the park is a venue for events. The event is famous and attracts many tourists and residents all year round.

The history of Odori Park began in 1871 when it was built as a perimeter to separate a large-scale fire, dividing the downtown area into two zones: the administrative district to the north and the district to the north. residential and commercial in the south. It was originally called Shiribeshi Dori, later renamed Odori.
