The waterfall is called Monkey waterfall because this area used to have a lot of primates gathering to eat juicy forest fruits and drink water, playing in the clear blue waterfall. From Sa Thay town, along Provincial Road 675a to Sa Son commune (Sa Thay district) about 8km, visitors will come to the Center "Rescue, conservation and development of organisms" of Chu Mom Ray National Park. In front of the Center is a large rustic welcome gate built with imitation wood concrete materials. From here, visitors can go by motorbike or walk around 2 km around the secondary forest. At this stretch of road, if you go right at the end of the year, you will be surprised to see a population of nearly 10 trees in the blooming season, illuminating a corner of the forest. Usually the characteristics of this forest tree species are standing alone, rarely growing in flaps, but here there is a luxuriant "population". After crossing the small concrete bridge, fake wood crossing the dry stream for about 15 minutes, visitors will come to the Crocodile Station to stop in the middle of the forest. This place is a house on stilts, the roof is covered with corrugated iron, paved with clean marble, all sides are left blank to make a place to rest for tourists and rangers. From the house on stilts to Monkey waterfall about 1km, visitors can follow the walking path paved with natural stones. The Rescue Center is designed at the edge of the forest, this is an area where wild animals are kept after being rescued due to injury, illegal hunting, etc., before being released back into the wild. Next to the animal captive area is the conservation and breeding area of endemic orchids and orchids with more than 1,500 orchid substrates, including some very rare species such as: Phat Ba bamboo, comedy van, royal dragon, etc. frugality, beauty and beauty... In addition, the Rescue Center also has a gallery that stores specimens of many extremely rich plant and animal species. In particular, there is a specimen that will make a strong impression on visitors when visiting, which is the specimen of a wild gaur that died in early 2017. This individual was received by the National Park Management Board and approved by the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province as a specimen for scientific research.
