DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT ROVANIEMI LAPLAND
On the first day, you will arrive at the snowy Apukka Resort. Our driver is welcoming you at Rovaniemi Airport, and after a 10-minute drive, you will see Apukka Resort in the middle of authentic Lappish nature. Finally, it’s time to check in and settle down for your spectacular accommodation.

DAYS 2-4 ACTIVE DAYS IN APUKKA RESORT
All your active days start from our atmospheric Restaurant Aitta, by enjoying a delicious breakfast!
Time for the magical activities – huskies, reindeer, and of course, Santa Claus are waiting for you! Your adventures are nicely planned for your stay, and if you are looking for even more activities for your stay, you can book more tours at our reception.
During the winter, Apukka Resort turns into a true winter wonderland where one never runs out of things to do. From dining in our beautiful Restaurant Aitta to feeling the thrill of different adventures, we guarantee you won’t have a dull moment during your stay with us.
We have a giant tube slide on the premises (free of charge) and a frozen lake just next to the Resort, inviting you to an afternoon walk on its thick ice cover. We got a big bonfire in the yard that we light up every night for you to relax. Building a snowman, kick sledding on the ice, or just walking around the beautiful Resort and taking photos – the list of things to do in Apukka Resort is endless.
Tour 1: Apukka Snow & Fun, duration 4 hours
Experience all the bucket list activities as a family! Huskies, reindeer, snow fun, and mini snowmobiles for children! In Apukka Snow and Fun, you will get to taste the best experiences at the Arctic Circle! Raise your childlike spirit sliding with toboggans, sculpt ice and snow to funny creatures, and try snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. When you hop on a sleigh ride with both huskies and reindeer, you’ll definitely get a taste of a thrill with these arctic animals. Kids will definitely have fun on the mini snowmobiles! During the active day, you’ll enjoy a tasty lunch in our authentic restaurant Aitta. It is time for the big snow fight to cap off the day!

Tour 2: Aurora hunt by Snow Train, duration 3 hours
Take the most comfortable ride to Northern Lights hunting. Our heated carriage, the one-of-a-kind snow train, takes you through the dark and snowy wilderness to gaze at the night sky in hopes of the Aurora Borealis. Gather around the warming bonfire to have a hot drink and hear myths and facts about the Northern Lights. Some say whistling brings out the Auroras. Would you try and see if it’s a myth or not? As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, nobody can give a 100% guarantee to see them, but this trip presents an excellent chance!
Tour 3: Reindeer ride to Santa through the Magic Forest, duration 2 hours
Nothing lights up the Christmas spirit as reindeer leading you through a snow-covered trail to a secret spot, where Christmas songs are playing, and baskets are filled with cookies. The funny Elves of Apukka will keep you company with Christmassy activities and help you find Santa’s Hidden Hut, a place full of magic! As the adventure goes on, you’ll have warm drinks and cookies and, of course, some alone time with Santa Claus!
DAY 5 – BYE BYE LAPLAND!
After a delicious breakfast, it is time to say bye-bye to Lapland. Our driver will take you to the airport and wish you a pleasant journey home. Hope to see you again at Apukka Resort Rovaniemi!

Reservations made for the period 1st December - 9th of January are non-refundable. If the reservation is cancelled or modified, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Same applies for cases of no-show. The resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.
