DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT ROVANIEMI LAPLAND
Welcome to the snowy wonderland of Apukka Resort! Upon your arrival at ROVANIEMI AIRPORT , our friendly driver will be there to greet you. After just a short 10-minute drive, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the pristine beauty of authentic Lappish nature as you arrive at Apukka Resort. Get ready to be amazed as you check in to your Arrival at snowy Apukka Resort. Adventures with Arctic animals await!
DAYS 2-4 ACTIVE DAYS WITH ARCTIC ANIMALS IN APUKKA RESORT
Start your days with a buffet breakfast at our atmospheric RESTAURANT AITTA.
Explore Lapland and all its unique activities. Meet huskies, enjoy peaceful nature in a reindeer sleigh, dash through the snow on horseback, and ride through the Lappish forest on a snowmobile. And don’t forget to search for Aurora Borealis every night. Your included activities will be distributed nicely along with your stay, and you can book more at our reception if you wish.
Apukka Resort turns into a winter wonderland during winter (December-April), offering activities to keep you engaged throughout your stay. From indulging in the delights of our Restaurant Aitta, to experiencing the excitement of VARIOUS ADVENTURES, we guarantee that boredom will be the last thing on your mind.
Our guests can enjoy a thrilling ride on the giant tube slide, located on our premises, at no extra cost. A frozen lake next to the resort provides the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll on its thick ice cover. Additionally, every evening, we light bonfires in the yard for you to unwind. Whether it’s building a snowman, kick sledding on the ice, or simply capturing memories by strolling around the beautiful Resort, the possibilities at Apukka Resort are endless.
Tour 1: Apukka Husky Adventure, duration 2 hours
Glide through the snow-covered landscape, and be amazed by the scenery and the huskies’ strength on this 5-10 km long safari. Take turns as the musher, and lead your team through the wilderness. Warm up with a hot drink around a bonfire, pet the huskies, and listen to tales about their history, heritage, and life in Lapland. You’ll leave this adventure with cherished memories of this thrilling adventure, appreciating the bond between humans and these amazing animals.
Tour 2: Snowy Nature on Horseback, duration 2 hours
On this snowy horseback adventure, you’ll ride through the snowy wilderness of Rovaniemi. Get wrapped in thermal clothing and hop on the saddle to enjoy the serene beauty of the snowy scenery and the rhythmic gait of the horses. The sense of adventure will guarantee an unforgettable experience. The 10.00 departure is for guests with previous experience with horseback riding. For the 12.00 departure, no previous experience is needed.
Tour 3: Reindeer Sleigh Ride across the Night, duration 3 hours
Our reindeer are waiting to take you on an unforgettable adventure where you’ll enter a world of magic and wonder. Snuggle up in the cozy sleigh and listen to the gentle rustling of hooves as the reindeer prance through the snowy night. Let yourself be amazed by the silvery glow of the snow, and take a look above, if you are lucky, there will be Northern Lights dancing in the sky.

Tour 4: Snowmobile Safari thru Wilderness, duration 2.5 hours
On this exhilarating snowmobile safari in the picturesque Lapland you’ll experience the Arctic wilderness like never before! Our experienced guides will take you on an unforgettable adventure, navigating through winding trails and hidden routes. Ride through snowy landscapes, pine tree forests, and frozen marshlands on this adrenaline-pumping experience. As you stop for a hot drink, enjoy the calm arctic nature before heading back.
DAY 6 – BYE BYE LAPLAND!
After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to Lapland. Our driver will accompany you to the airport and send you off with well wishes for a safe and pleasant journey back home. We hope to welcome you back to Apukka Resort again in the future!

Reservations made for the period mentioned are non-refundable. If the reservation is cancelled or
modified, the total price of the reservation will be charged. The same applies to cases of no-shows. The
resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.

If the reservation is cancelled or modified up to 60 days before arrival, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If the reservation is cancelled up to 31 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
For cancellations made later than 31 days before arrival or in case of a no-show, the total price of the
reservation will be charged. The resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.
