Finland-Rovaniemi - snow fun day combo

Include:

• Price includes all activities, services and equipment in the program.
• Pick up/drop off service from main accommodation in downtown Rovaniemi, Santa Claus Village, Arctic Treehouse Hotel.
• 1 hour 30-40 minutes drive on a 2-seater shared snowmobile.
• Visit to the reindeer farm, including a 400 meter sleigh ride, hot juice and cookies, stories of the reindeer and the reindeer herder way of life. The time here is approximately 1 hour.
• Visit to the husky farm and a 2km non self driven sled ride pulled by a husky team, hot juice and cookies, stories and interesting facts about the huskies and their lifes. The time here is approximately 1 hour.
• Thermal clothing, boots, gloves, wool socks, scarf and helmet.
• Short stops throughout the tour to take photos of the beautiful scenery.
• Tour guide in English, other languages upon request.

08:10-08:30: we will pick you up at hotels or pick up points.

When you arrive at 08:40 the start of the tour, you will be equipped with warm clothes and instructions on how to ride a snowmobile.

When we are ready, we start the trip by moving around the Arctic area, enjoying the beautiful snow-covered scenery by snowmobile.

We will stop at a local reindeer farm and experience an exciting short reindeer sled ride. You will then be led to the Lappish “kota” tent to enjoy hot drinks and participate in the mysterious North Pole Ceremony.

Continuing the trip, we travel by snowmobile to a husky dog farm, where you will meet adorable dogs and ride on a sled pulled by a team of husky dogs. You will also enjoy hot drinks and cookies, and hear interesting stories and facts about husky dogs and their lives.

Final, End the trip and return to the hotel.

General note:

• In winter you always need to have winter clothes for all shows.
• All tours listed are for a minimum of 2 people paying full price (adults), unless otherwise mentioned.
• All equipment rental and tour reservations require 100% prepayment to be confirmed.

Snowmobile tour:

• The snowmobile driver must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driving license – class A1, T, A or B (please check if it is valid in Finland). For all snowmobile tours, we require you to bring your driver's license. Also a copy or photo is suitable.
• Please note that driving a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
• Teens must be at least 140cm tall to ride on a sled at adult prices.
• Duration of the program is 4 hours, including preparations.
• The riding time on snowmobiles is approximately 1 hour and 30 – 40 minutes.
• The average speed during our short tours is limited due to the safety and traffic regulations.
• Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for an extra charge.
• Children will ride on a sled pulled by a guided snowmobile if the type of tour allows.
• Sledding is not recommended for children under 3 years old.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 25.00€/person if the booking is canceled 8 days or more before the event.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour price if the booking is canceled 7 days or less before the event.
