DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ROVANIEMI LAPLAND

Welcome to Apukka Resort in Rovaniemi Lapland. Our driver is welcoming you at Rovaniemi Airport, and after a short 10 minutes drive, you will arrive at Apukka Resort in the middle of authentic Lappish nature. Then, it’s time to check in and settle down in your spectacular accommodation. Your activities will be distributed along with your stay, so you’ll have time to relax too. If you want an active vacation, you can book as many activities in advance as you want or from our reception on the spot.

DAYS 2 AND 3: ACTIVE DAYS IN APUKKA RESORT

A daily buffet breakfast at our atmospheric Restaurant Aitta is included.

Discover Lapland and its distinctive activities. Relish the Finnish sauna and outdoor jacuzzi, venture outdoors to harvest delectable Arctic berries, and witness the Northern Lights right from your bed in the Aurora accommodation. Your complimentary activities will be scheduled throughout your stay, and you can arrange additional tours either before your arrival or at our reception if desired.

Apukka Resort is genuinely in the middle of Lappish nature. During the autumn season (from September to mid-November), you have more time to explore Arctic forests and lakes, preparing for winter. The pace of life slows down after the vivid summer season. Here one never runs out of things to do. From dining in our beautiful Restaurant Aitta, to feeling the thrill of different adventures, we guarantee you won’t have a dull moment during your stay with us.

• Tour 1: Trekking in the Heart of Nature, duration 3 hours

Enjoy a journey through the serene woods of Lapland with our expert guide. Learn the art of berry picking and discover the secrets of natural ingredients. Listen to captivating stories about the old way of life and traditional use of nature’s gifts. The slow pace allows for appreciation of details and leisurely photo-taking. Enjoy a campfire break where your guide prepares traditional Finnish pancakes, possibly topped with freshly picked berries, creating a perfect blend of nature, culture, and culinary delight.

• Tour 2: Sauna Experience with Outdoor Jacuzzi, duration 1,5 hours.

You can’t say that you’ve genuinely been to Finland unless you’ve tried a Finnish sauna. We welcome you on a journey to the warm soul of Finland, our sauna culture. For Finnish people, the sauna is almost sacred. It’s a place where you make new friends, have important business meetings, or relax for hours in a row. Every now and then, jump into your private jacuzzi and gaze at the stars – with some good luck, maybe you even catch the Northern lights! Don’t take our word for it; try it out yourself with the guidance of our sauna host!

DAY 4: BYE BYE LAPLAND!

After a delicious breakfast, it is time to say bye-bye to Lapland. Our driver will take you to the airport and wish you a pleasant journey home. Hope to see you again at Apukka Resort!

• Reservations made for the period mentioned are non-refundable.
• If the reservation is cancelled or modified, the total price of the reservation will be charged. The same applies to cases of no-shows. The resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.

1st Sep – 10th Nov 2024 & 9th Jan – 6th Apr 2025

• If the reservation is cancelled or modified up to 60 days before arrival, no cancellation fee will be charged.
• If the reservation is cancelled up to 31 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
• For cancellations made later than 31 days before arrival or in case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. The resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.
