DAY 1 – ARRIVING AT ROVANIEMI LAPLAND

Welcome to Lapland and Apukka Resort. Upon landing at Rovaniemi Airport, our driver will warmly welcome you. A short 10-minute drive takes you to Apukka Resort, situated in the midst of genuine Lappish nature. Upon arrival, check in, settle into your snug accommodation, and begin your family’s Lapland adventure. 

DAYS 2-4 JOYFUL CHRISTMAS IN APUKKA RESORT

Begin your mornings on a delightful note with a hearty buffet breakfast in our charming Restaurant Aitta. Relish the festive Christmas dinners served on the 24th and 25th of December. On other evenings, indulge in the diverse offerings of our exceptional dinner buffet.

Family Snowmobiling, duration 2,5 hours
Snowmobiling is the perfect recipe for quality family time! In this exhilarating tour, adults take control of the snowmobiles while children enjoy a cozy ride on a warm sled pulled by the tour guide’s snowmobile. The snowmobile safari covers a distance of 10-20 kilometers, adjusted based on weather conditions. With safety and driving instructions provided, this tour is ideal for total beginners too! Amidst the breathtaking natural surroundings, the adventure includes a relaxing break, where you can sit back, savor a hot drink, and soak in the moment's beauty.

Ice Fishing Like a Finn, duration 2,5 hours

Reindeer ride to Santa through the Magic Forest, duration 2 hours
Your enchanting encounter with Santa is just around the corner! Journey through a magical forest on a sleigh pulled by reindeer, the iconic Christmas animals, while entertained by playful elves along the way. These elves are Apukka’s very own fun-loving magical helpers, making your journey a true delight. This unforgettable adventure comprises a reindeer sleigh ride, a private family meeting with Father Christmas, and small gifts for all guests. You’ll also experience our Christmassy workshop, making you feel like an elf!

Apukka Snow & Fun, duration 4 hours
This fun-tastic tour brings together the best of Lapland – huskies, reindeer, mini snowmobiles, and more! Enjoy a 500-meter husky ride and a 500-meter reindeer ride, and indulge in other favorite wintry pastimes. Fancy trying your hand at skiing or perhaps experiencing the thrill of snow tubing or snowshoeing? This tour promises hours of entertainment for your children, giving you ample opportunities to capture precious moments with your camera. A tasty lunch is also included in this experience to ensure that energy levels remain high.

Festive dinners on the 24th and 25th
We savor festive dinner buffets on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day while enjoying a Christmassy program. 

DAY 5 – BYE BYE LAPLAND!
After a splendid holiday and a delightful breakfast, it’s time to depart, carrying the Christmas Spirit with you. Our driver will transport you to the airport, and your journey back begins.

Reservations made for the period mentioned are non-refundable. If the reservation is cancelled or modified, the total price of the reservation will be charged. The same applies to cases of no-shows. The resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.

1st Sep – 10th Nov 2024 & 9th Jan – 6th Apr 2025

• If the reservation is cancelled or modified up to 60 days before arrival, no cancellation fee will be charged.
• If the reservation is cancelled up to 31 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
• For cancellations made later than 31 days before arrival or in case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. The resort is entitled to charge the total amount of your reservation from your credit card.
