DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT ROVANIEMI LAPLAND
Arrival at snowy Apukka Resort. Our driver will welcome you at Rovaniemi Airport, and after a 10-minute drive, you will arrive at Apukka Resort in the middle of authentic Lappish nature. Finally, it’s time to check in and settle down in your spectacular accommodation.

Time for the adventures! Our Siberian huskies are waiting for you on the daytime tour! When the night falls, it’s time to hunt the mythical Northern Lights. Your excursions will be distributed nicely along with your stay, and if you wish, you can book more tours at a 10% discount in advance or on the spot at our reception.
On Christmastime, Apukka Resort is truly a winter wonderland where one never runs out of things to do. From dining in our beautiful Restaurant Aitta to feeling the thrill of different adventures, we guarantee you won’t have a dull moment during your stay with us.
We have a giant tube slide on the premises (free of charge) and a frozen lake just next to the Resort, inviting you to an afternoon walk on its thick ice cover. We have several bonfires in the yard that we light up daily for you to relax. Building a snowman, kick sledding on the ice, or just walking around the beautiful Resort and taking photos – the list of things to do in Apukka Resort is endless.
Tour 1: Apukka Husky Tour, duration 2 hours
Get wet kisses from Apukka Huskies, pet these lovely puppies, and pose for a photo with them as you listen to our musher tell you about their life in the Arctic North. On the 7-10 km long dog sleigh ride, you’ll get to guide the pack of huskies through the snowy wilderness and have a taste of life as a sleigh dog breeder.

Tour 2: Snowmobile Safari thru Wilderness, duration 2.5 hours
Hop on the snowmobile and drive into the most beautiful snowy scenery! The snowmobiles will take you to untouched nature, where the only sounds come from the arctic wild animals around. Experience the thrill of snowmobiling, and stop on the way to admire the beauty of the wilderness. Have a bite to eat and a hot drink before heading back to reality.

After a delicious breakfast, it is time to say bye-bye to Lapland. Our driver will take you to the airport and wish you a pleasant journey home. Hope to see you again at Apukka Resort!
