This FAM Trip combines destination exploration, hospitality inspections, and firsthand travel experiences in Sapa. Highlights include the overnight train journey from Hanoi to Lao Cai, Fansipan cable car experience, mountain attractions, scenic viewpoints, and inspections of accommodation and tourism products suitable for international travelers.

Program schedule

Overnight Train Experience | Hanoi – Lao Cai

Departure from Hanoi Railway Station at approximately 21:30 – 22:00 aboard an overnight sleeper train to Lao Cai. This is one of Northern Vietnam’s most iconic travel experiences, offering a unique and memorable journey into the mountain region of Sapa.

Day 1 | Lao Cai Arrival – Fansipan Experience – Sapa Inspection (Breakfast/Lunch)

Arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station early in the morning and meet your local guide.
Transfer to a local wellness stop for a herbal foot bath, light refreshment, and breakfast before continuing the scenic drive to Sapa through the beautiful mountain landscapes of Northern Vietnam.
Fansipan Legend Cable Car: Enjoy a spectacular cable car ride above the Hoang Lien Son mountain range toward Fansipan, known as “The Roof of Indochina.” Guests may explore panoramic mountain viewpoints, the spiritual complex, and cloud-covered landscapes.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit Cat Cat Village, a traditional H’Mong village known for its wooden houses, terraced fields, and rich local culture.
Explore Moana Sapa, one of the region’s most popular scenic attractions featuring panoramic mountain views and creative photo spots.
Visit selected mountain cafés and scenic viewpoints overlooking the valleys and mountain ranges of Sapa.
Continue with inspections of selected resorts, boutique hotels, and hospitality venues in Sapa.
Free time in the evening to explore Sapa town at leisure.
Overnight in Sapa.

Day 2 | Sapa Leisure Morning – Return to Noi Bai Airport (Breakfast/Lunch)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy a relaxed morning exploring the atmosphere of Sapa town, including optional visits to Sapa Stone Church, the local market area, and scenic cafés.
Continue with selected hotel, restaurant, and hospitality inspections suitable for international leisure travelers and future tourism programs.
Early lunch.
Depart Sapa by shared/open limousine bus at approximately 11:00.
Estimated arrival at Noi Bai International Airport is around 17:30 – 18:00, subject to traffic conditions.
Arrival at the airport for the evening flight.
End of services.

Overnight train cabins are based on a shared 4-berth soft sleeper configuration.
Weather in Sapa may change quickly; light jackets and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Fansipan cable car operation is subject to weather conditions and maintenance schedules.
Travel time from Sapa to Noi Bai International Airport may vary depending on traffic conditions.
Minimum 2 guests are required for the tour to operate.

More than 7 days before departure: 100% refund.
From 4 – 7 days before departure: 30% cancellation fee.
From 2 – 3 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
Within 48 hours or No-show: 100% cancellation fee.
Working days: Cancellation period is calculated based on working days only (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Force majeure: In case of flight cancellations or delays caused by airlines or natural disasters, Tatinta will assist guests in rescheduling services or negotiating with suppliers to minimize penalties whenever possible.
