Overview

Journey to explore Cuc Phuong - Vietnam's oldest national park, combining nature experiences, learning about wildlife conservation and interacting with local communities.
This program supports environmental protection, promotes local income and minimizes negative impacts on the ecosystem.

🗓️ Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong – Explore the old forest (Lunch, dinner)

🕚 07:00 – Pick up in Hanoi

🕚 09:30 – Arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park

✨ Check in to the garden
🌍 Stop at the Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC)
🐒 Listen to an introduction to rare langur species (delacour's langur, golden-headed langur)
🐵 Learn about the rescue - rehabilitation - release process
🚫 Do not take flash photos, keep a minimum distance of 5m

👉 Entrance fees contribute directly to the primate conservation fund

🕚 10:45 – Visit Cuc Phuong Turtle Conservation Center (TCC)

🐢 Learn to identify 20 rare turtle species
🔄 The story of releasing turtles into the wild and the harmful effects of wildlife trafficking

🕚 12:00 – Lunch at a local restaurant (Muong cuisine)

🕚 17:30 – Brocade weaving workshop & making handicrafts from linen fibers

🧵 Tourists learn to weave and add patterns with artisans

🌿 Expert guide to identifying 30 native plant species
🍄 Practice “Reading the Forest”: find traces of insects, birds, mushrooms, tree roots

🕚 11:30 – Lunch picnic in the forest

🍱 Prepared food in biodegradable containers
🔄 All organic waste is collected and processed at Cuc Phuong bio-waste area

🕚 13:00 – Planting native trees (Reforestation Activity)

🌱 Each customer plants 1 tree (black cassia, green lim or flower lat)
🏷️ Sign the “Carbon Offset Impact” card
🖼️ Images sent to customer's email after 6 months

🕚 14:00 – End of activities, rest – prepare for departure

🕚 15:00 – Get on the bus back to Hanoi

🕚 17:30–18:00 – Arrive in Hanoi – end of program

🎁 Give customers a certificate "Responsible Traveler - Cuc Phuong"

• Follow the tour guide when entering the forest, do not separate from the group
• Do not touch animals, thorny plants or mushrooms
• Do not fly drones near primate areas
• Do not bring food for animals
• Do not use bluetooth speakers or headphones

✅ REGULATIONS ON CHILDREN:
• Children under 5 years old: Free (sitting in the same car, eating with parents, no separate seat)
• Children from 5-10 years old: 70% of adult price (including meals, seats on the bus, entrance tickets)
• Children over 10 years old: Same price as adults

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation by the guest will incur additional fees as follows:

  • More than 14 days before departure date: No charge.
  • From 7 days to 14 days before departure date: 50% of tour price.
  • From 3 days to 6 days before departure date: 70% of tour price.
  • Within 3 days before departure date or no show: 100% tour price.
