Start from Ho Chi Minh City with a river cruise and local cooking. Explore Thieng Lieng Island’s salt fields, enjoy Đờn Ca Tài Tử, taste authentic cuisine, and return to the city.

The tour begins in Ho Chi Minh City, where guests embark on a cruise along the peaceful Nha Be and Xoai Rap Rivers – often called the “green lungs” of Saigon. During the journey, you will have the chance to make a local specialty and enjoy it as a light breakfast amid the tranquil river scenery.

Arriving at Thieng Lieng Island (Can Gio), guests explore the island’s traditional salt-making village. Here, you can visit vast salt fields by bicycle or electric cart and immerse yourself in the charm of rural life. The experience continues with a performance of Đờn Ca Tài Tử – a UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage of Southern Vietnam – offering soulful and unique melodies. Guests will also taste authentic local dishes and drinks made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, savoring the true flavors of the community.

After lunch on board, the journey offers a relaxing herbal foot soak to rejuvenate your energy. The tour concludes back in Ho Chi Minh City at around 17:30, leaving you with unforgettable impressions of the nature, culture, and people of Can Gio.

To ensure customer safety, Saco Travel’s products and services are reserved for the following participants:

• Parents or accompanying adults are fully responsible for their children.

All current tour packages and services include travel insurance. In the event of unexpected incidents (personal injury, property damage, death, etc.), Saco Travel will provide maximum support possible based on the actual situation.

The listed prices are valid until further notice and may change due to factors such as fuel price increases or entrance fee adjustments.

Saco Travel reserves the right to refuse liability in cases arising from a customer’s negligence or intentional actions (e.g., not declaring food allergies but suffering allergic reactions, disregarding tour guide instructions, failing to follow regulations, leaving the group without notice, or voluntarily joining activities not included in the program).

For guests under the influence of alcohol, stimulants, or who display inappropriate, disruptive, disrespectful, or destructive behavior affecting the group or tour schedule, Saco Travel reserves the right to refuse service or to deny further participation in the tour.

Please notify us before 17:00 on the day prior to departure in case of any changes or special requests. Saco Travel cannot accommodate requests made after this deadline or on the day of departure.

Cancellations or postponements made after 17:00 on the day prior to departure, or on the day of departure, will be charged 100% of the tour price.
