Your Experience Journey

08:00 AM – Hotel pickup

Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Hanoi city center. Meet your local guide and depart for the outskirts of Hanoi to explore two of the capital’s most famous traditional craft villages.

08:30 AM – Visit Van Phuc Silk village

Located approximately 15 kilometers west of Hanoi, Van Phuc Silk village has been famous for silk weaving for over a thousand years. Upon arrival, stroll through the peaceful village streets lined with colorful silk shops and traditional houses.

Visit local weaving workshops to observe the intricate silk-making process, from spinning and dyeing to weaving delicate silk fabrics. Learn about the long history of Vietnamese silk production and discover why Van Phuc silk has been highly valued both domestically and internationally.

You will also have free time to browse beautiful silk products, scarves, clothing, and handicrafts.

10:30 AM – Transfer to Bat Trang Ceramic village

Continue your journey to Bat Trang Ceramic village, located on the left bank of the Red River, approximately 10 kilometers east of Hanoi.

Established over 700 years ago, Bat Trang is considered Vietnam’s oldest and most renowned pottery village. The village remains active today, with generations of artisans preserving traditional ceramic-making techniques.

11:15 AM – Explore Bat Trang village

Walk through the narrow village lanes and visit local ceramic workshops where skilled artisans create beautiful pottery products by hand.

Meet local craftsmen and gain insight into the techniques that have been passed down through generations. Depending on availability, visitors may also participate in an optional pottery-making experience and create their own ceramic souvenir.

Visit the local pottery market, where a wide variety of ceramics, porcelain, household items, and decorative pieces are displayed.

12:30 PM – Lunch at a local restaurant

Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant featuring authentic regional dishes and traditional flavors.

01:30 PM – Return to Hanoi

After lunch, depart for Hanoi city center.

02:00 PM – Hotel drop-off

Arrive back at your hotel, concluding your six-hour cultural journey through Hanoi’s traditional craft villages.
