The monument is located in the center of the traffic hub at the intersection of 3 roads (Phahon Yothin/Phaya Thai and Ratchawithi/Din Daeng). Victory Monument serves as an iconic landmark of the city of Bangkok. The memorial consists of a central Obelisk (stone pen tower) placed on a multi-column base. It has the shape of five bayonets tied together in a fascist architectural design. Surrounding the central memorial are five black metal statues representing the various military forces of Thailand.
