The Parliament Building or Sansad Bhavan is one of the most impressive buildings in Delhi, a place not to be missed when visiting for its unique architecture as well as the chance to photograph an iconic building of capital city Delhi.

The Parliament Building, designed by British architects Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, was inaugurated in 1927. The architect imagined a structure resembling the Colosseum and it ended up being a Colosseum. The circular building has been completed. In the center of the building is a circular hall, with a diameter of nearly 30m. The Central Hall is considered a very important part of the Parliament building as it is where the Constitution of India was drafted. Surrounding this hall are three semicircular halls built for sessions including the Rajya Sabha (Senate), Lok Sabha (House of Representatives), and a central library. To add to the beauty of the building, it has about 144 decorative columns along with beautiful gardens and fountains. The building's boundary wall features skillfully carved sandstone blocks in intricate geometric patterns.

The Parliament Building also houses a museum that aims to educate people about the "Democratic Heritage of India". The museum is very interesting with pictures, sounds and lights, large screen interactive computers and virtual reality shows and other features.

Although Parliament House can be visited at any time of the year, winter is still the most favorable time as the weather is quite pleasant. To enter the Building requires official permission, whether Parliament is in session or not. Visitors can enter the public galleries of the Indian Parliament after receiving the official pass. However, if you have a passport, you can still enter to take pictures outside the world's largest Parliament Building.
