“An icon of Busan, standing 69 meters above sea level and 120 meters high, offering stunning views of the city”

Busan Tower was built in 1973 to erase the memory of the Japanese occupation and celebrate the symbol of growth and pray for Busan's prosperity and peace. After 40 years of war, Korea has risen to become one of the strongest economies in the world. Korea has become one of the pioneering countries looking for new ways to develop a sustainable and harmonious approach to the planet's environment.

The design of the Busan Tower is the achievement of a sustainable approach that still shows the country's roots. As the ancient wisdom of Korea suggested in the Korean flag, the white background, symbolizes peace and purity, the circle in the middle is derived from the yin and yang philosophy and represents the balance of the universe. . The blue part represents negative cosmic forces, and the red part represents opposing positive cosmic forces. The bagua together represent the principle of movement and harmony. Busan tower column is built solidly with white painted concrete. At the top of the tower is an observatory built in the shape of the tops of ancient Korean Buddhist temples with circular and flower-shaped architecture at the top, where a large glass door surrounds the observatory, giving visitors a panoramic view of the city of Busan. The observatory can be accessed by two double-decker lifts modeled on the BulguksaDaboh tower. Democracy Park, Yeongdodaegyo Bridge, Bllionsaegyo Bridge, Busan Harbor, Jagalchi Market, Namhangdaegyo Bridge and Oryukdo Islands can all be seen from the observatory. On a clear day, even the islands of Daemado and the night view of the popular Busan harbor can be seen.

While viewing the city from above, visitors can also discover the history of the city and how it has transformed over the years through a series of exhibits featured in the tower. In addition to the exhibit and observatory, there are virtual reality equipment as well as interactive facilities to add color to your visit to the tower.
