Traditional restaurant in old town Bern in honor of Giuseppe Verdi and his passion for music. Verdi restaurant is built with meticulous details and various room types, many niches and impressive vaulted cellars. The restaurant's kitchen pays homage to the great Italian composer's hometown of Emilian – with specialties like Bollito misto and a wide range of wines in the open cellar.

Entering Verdi restaurant, guests will feel an elegant atmosphere with high vaulted ceilings adorned with luxurious golden crystal chandeliers. Giuseppe Verdi composed the most passionate and moving melodies in the realm of Italian classical music. The Ristorante Verdi in Bern Old Town is therefore dedicated to the composer. From the lamps and murals to the candles in the alcoves, every decor at the Verdi restaurant is designed to pay homage to and reminiscent of Verdi and his era.

The restaurant's magnificent cellar contains an enoteca – Vallocaica – where guests can sample wine and grappa from the “Vallocaia” vineyard while enjoying rustic produce and dishes from Tuscany.
